Karlo Štorga from Restaurant Bedem will represent Varaždin County at the prestigious Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg.
Our chef Karlo Štorga is one of eight members of the Varaždin County regional team set to compete at the Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg, one of the largest international competitions for chefs and pastry chefs. The event will bring together more than 3,000 participants from over 70 countries.
This will be the regional team’s fifth appearance at the competition, having previously won bronze medals in 2014 and 2018. Karlo brings experience from international culinary competitions and highlights the team members’ familiarity and shared experience as important strengths.
Ahead of the Culinary World Cup, the regional team was received by Varaždin County Prefect Anđelko Stričak. The reception highlighted the importance of showcasing Varaždin’s culinary heritage on the international stage, and the competitors were wished every success in Luxembourg.
